Rybelsus contains the active ingredient semaglutide, which belongs to a group of medicines called GLP-1. It works similarly to a natural hormone called GLP-1, which is released immediately after eating.
Where this drug stimulates the beta cells responsible for the secretion of insulin in the pancreas, inhibiting the secretion of the hormone glucagon, and reducing the rate of gastric emptying of food.
Rybelsus also controls weight due to the presence of GLP-1 receptors in different parts of the brain, including the satiety centers, where the person taking Riplesys feels full and does not need to eat for a longer period.
Indications:
Rybelsus is used to treat patients with type 2 diabetes.
It is also used in cases of weight loss.
Warnings:
Do not use this medicine if you are hypersensitive to the active ingredient or any of the ingredients.
Riplase is not used to treat patients with type 1 diabetes.
Riplase should not be used in patients with medullary thyroid cancer.
How to use:
Rybelsus is used once daily with a glass of water, preferably on an empty stomach.
The side effects:
Like most medicines, it may cause some side effects, but not everyone suffers from them, including them.
- Feeling of nausea (it is considered the most common side effect and the probability of its occurrence when using this drug reaches 44% of cases).

Pregnancy and lactation:
- Do not use the drug during pregnancy.

- Rybelsus Should not be used while breastfeeding.
How to store the medicine:
- Keep this medicine out of the reach of children.
- Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C.
- Do not use the package after the expiry date which is stated on the carton.
