What is Ovitril?
Synthetic version of hCG.
Produced by recombinant DNA technology, it works to stimulate the growth of the follicle that contains the egg in the last stages, and when the follicle is fully grown, this hormone works to rupture the mature follicle, which leads to the exit of the fully matured egg and ovulation.
What are the uses of Ovitril?
This medicine is part of the Assisted Reproduction and Fertility (ART) program used when the cause of female infertility is functional.
We find it used to stimulate ovulation in infertile females, who have previously been treated with follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). It incites ovulation and pregnancy in sterile females.
What are the contraindications for the use of Ovitril?
It is forbidden to use the drug without consulting a specialist doctor in the following cases:
Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
Primary ovarian failure.
Dysfunction of the thyroid gland or adrenal glands are not regulated.
Uncontrolled intracranial tumor.
Abnormal bleeding from the uterus.
Polycystic ovaries.
Ovarian enlargement of unknown cause.
The presence of a tumor dependent on sex hormones.
