What is chloramphenicol / benzocaine and what is it used for:

Chloramphenicol / Benzocaine is used to treat external ear infections.

Do not use chloramphenicol:

If you are allergic to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

If you have a perforated eardrum.

Warnings and Precautions:

Tell your doctor if you or your family have blood problems (eg anemia) or bone marrow problems.

Do not use for longer than directed. It may result in a second infection.
