What is Mycosat 100000 IU Oral Drops | 30 ml and what is used

It is an oral suspension that contains nystatin as the active ingredient, a substance belonging to the class of antifungal agents.

It is used for the prevention and treatment of fungal infections, esophagus or gastrointestinal tract.

It is also  used in the treatment of oral thrush in infants born to mothers infected with vaginal thrush.

 Warnings.

Do not use it in any of the following cases.

If you are allergic to the active substance or any of the ingredients.

Mycosat is not used in the case of a fungal infection that affects the lungs or the skin.

How to use

Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure of the dose.

The recommended dose for adults and children is 1 ml to be instilled in the mouth four times daily.

Infants drip 1 ml daily orally.

Doses should be spaced out throughout the day.
