Mucinex contains the active ingredient guaifenesin, which is an expectorant to reduce the viscosity of mucus to allow the cough to get rid of it. It is used to relieve chest congestion caused by colds, infections or allergies.

Indications:

It is used to loosen phlegm (mucus) and bronchial secretions.

It is used to facilitate the elimination of sputum and thin bronchial secretions in patients with chronic bronchitis.

Warnings:

Do not use Mucinex if you are allergic to the active ingredient or any of the ingredients.

You should consult your doctor before taking this medication if you suffer from kidney problems, heart disease, or liver problems.

How to use:

This medicine is for use in adults and children 12 years of age and older.

The usual recommended dose is one or two tablets every 12 hours, not to exceed 4 tablets during the day.

• Like most medicines, it may cause some side effects, but not everyone suffers from them, including them.

How to  store the medicine:
