Why is minoxidil used?

• Minoxidil is used topically on the scalp to treat hereditary hair loss.

Do not use minoxidil:

• If you suffer from high blood pressure.
• If you suffer from a skin condition of your scalp such as psoriasis or sunburn.
• If you have hair loss for other reasons (medications, childbirth).
• If you have a shaved scalp.
• If you have to wear a bandage or cover your scalp.

How to use minoxidil:

• This property is intended for people between the ages of 18 and 65.
• Use this drug as directed by your doctor.
• This medicine is for use on the scalp only.
• Apply 1 ml to your scalp twice daily (6 sprays).
