It is a combination pill that contains two types of hormones

How the medicine works:

These hormones prevent the ovaries from ovulating each month

It also increases the density of the fluid in the cervix, making it more difficult for the sperm to reach the egg

The lining of the uterus changes to make it less likely to accept a fertilized egg

How to use:

Start taking birth control pills marked with the correct day of the week

Follow the direction of the arrows on the tape

Take one pill every day at the same time

Until you have finished all 21 tablets, then allow seven days free of pills and then start the next strip

If you need surgery

If you have a heart attack

if you suffer from diabetes

High levels of cholesterol or triglycerides
