What is the medicine Flector ?
Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug that has analgesic, antipyretic and anti-inflammatory action.
Uses of Flector
Diclofenac is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug, and it has many uses, the most important of which are:
- Pain reliever and fever reducer.
- Treatment of spondylitis rheumatica or rheumatoid spondylitis.
- Treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and juvenile idiopathic arthritis.
- Osteoarthritis treatment.
- Treatment of acute gout attacks.
- Treatment of tendinitis and bursitis.
- Treatment of menstrual pain, where it is used in the absence of benefit from other pain-relieving drugs and in low doses (approximately 75 mg per day), and it also works to reduce bleeding.
- Treating dental pain. Diclofenac potassium is more effective than paracetamol and ibuprofen in terms of reducing postoperative pain, such as tooth extraction and deep drilling.
Effervescent Diclofenac (powder sachets)
Effervescent diclofenac uses include:
- It is commonly used in the treatment of migraine headaches.

Effervescent diclofenac is contraindicated in the following cases:

Flector Dosages and Methods of Use
The doctor determines the appropriate dose for each person according to his health condition, but in general the doses are as follows:
Diclofenac doses for adults
Diclofenac doses for adults include:
- The maximum daily dose of diclofenac is 100 mg/day.
- Treatment of rheumatoid spondylitis: 25 mg of diclofenac tablets 4 times a day.
