Product uses

•  It is used to reduce pain, swelling, and joint stiffness from osteoarthritis
•  Reduces symptoms associated with osteoporosis and rheumatoid arthritis
•  It is a pain reliever and anti-inflammatory

 How to use the product

•  Do not use any medicine unless under the supervision of a doctor or pharmacist
•  Take the tablet(s) with or immediately after a meal to reduce stomach upset
•  The dose is 20 mg orally once a day.
•  Dosages may be changed in some cases under the supervision of a physician

Warnings and precautions:

Do not take piroxicam if you have:

• A history of gastro-intestinal ulcers, bleeding or perforation.
• The patient's history of gastrointestinal disorders that predispose to bleeding disorders such as ulcerative colitis, Crohn's disease, gastrointestinal cancer or diverticulitis.
• Patients with active peptic ulcer, inflammatory gastrointestinal disorder, or gastrointestinal bleeding.
• Concomitant use with other NSAIDs, including COX-2 selective NSAIDs and acetylsalicylic acid in analgesic doses.
• Simultaneous use with anticoagulants.
• Previous history of a serious allergic reaction to drugs of any kind, especially cutaneous reactions such as erythema multiforme, Stevens-Johnson syndrome, toxic epidermal necrolysis.
• Hypersensitivity to the active substance or excipients, previous skin reaction (regardless of severity) to piroxicam, other NSAIDs and other drugs.
• Patients on aspirin and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs cause symptoms of asthma, adenoids, angioedema or urticaria.
• severe heart failure;
• During the last three months of pregnancy.
