Co-Aprovel 300/12.5 mg

It is a combination of irbesartan, an angiotensin II receptor antagonist, hydrochlorothiazide and a thiazide diuretic indicated for hypertension.

Co-Aprovel 300/12.5 mg is also indicated for patients who are not adequately controlled with monotherapy, as well as as initial therapy for patients who are likely to need multiple medications to achieve their target blood pressure.

 Contraindications:

Allergy to irbesartan or hydrochlorothiazide.

Hypersensitivity to sulfonamide-derived drugs (eg sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim, sulfasalazine).

Anuria (not having enough urine).

renal failure.

Monitor renal function.
