What is Prexal 10 mg?

Brixall product contains olanzapine for the treatment of delirium and mental illness.

How does Brixal work?

Olanzapine is a second generation antipsychotic that acts directly on dopamine D2 and serotonin receptors and affects their action.

What are the medical uses of Brixal?

Treatment of schizophrenia, such as hearing or feeling things that are not there, believing things that are not true, or feeling anxious, suspicious and confused.

Treatment of manic episodes such as feeling excited, irritable, or hyperactive, which leads to aggression or turmoil.

How is Brixal taken?

Adults from 18 years of age take the tablet orally with water at the same time daily, in a dose between 5 and 20 mg, as prescribed by the doctor or pharmacist.

Do not change the dose until after consulting a doctor. The patient should not stop taking the medicine unless he tells the doctor about it.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is almost time for the second dose to avoid taking more than one dose at the same time.

What are the side effects of this drug?
