What is Otosan Nasal Spray Baby used for?
It is used for a blocked or runny nose in children caused by colds, allergies, rhinitis and sinusitis, and for dryness and irritation of the nasal lining.

Why is a hypertonic spray better for my child than regular saline drops?
Regular saline drops are isotonic and mainly moisturise. Otosan Nasal Spray Baby is a hypertonic formula specially designed for children: it draws excess fluid out of the swollen nasal lining to relieve congestion, while thinning mucus so the child can breathe, feed and sleep more easily.

Why avoid xylometazoline sprays for children?
Vasoconstrictor decongestants such as xylometazoline are not recommended for young children and can cause rebound congestion with repeated use. Otosan Nasal Spray Baby contains no vasoconstrictors, so it can be used daily whenever needed.
