Indications

It is used to lower fats known as cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood when a low-fat diet and lifestyle changes have failed

If you are at increased risk of heart disease, it can also be used to reduce this risk even if your cholesterol levels are normal

How to use

According to the doctor's instructions. The starting dose is usually 10 mg with or without food, preferably at bedtime to avoid side effects such as muscle weakness

If you have or have ever had a liver disease

If you are pregnant or trying to become pregnant

if you are breastfeeding
If you have kidney problems

If you suffer from acute respiratory failure
