Product ingredients:

Carbamazepine is an antiepileptic used to treat different types of epileptic seizures

Medical Uses for Tegretol 200 mg Tablets:

• Treats some types of epilepsy
• Treats the pain associated with the trigeminal nerve (sudden and recurrent attacks of facial pain)
• Controls serious mood disorders when other medications haven't worked.

How to use the product:

• Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
• Consult your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
• Dosages may change from patient to patient based on their age, medical condition, and whether or not they are taking other medications.
• Keep taking your medicine for as long as your doctor tells you to.
• Do not stop taking your medication or lower your dose without first checking with your doctor. Stopping the medication suddenly or lowering your dose may cause unwanted side effects or make your condition worse.
• Take your dose during or after a meal.
• Take at the same time every day.
• Do not stop taking your medications without consulting your doctor.
• Swallow the tablets with a full glass of water. Do not crush or chew the tablets
• Dosages may change under special circumstances, so always follow your doctor or pharmacist's instructions.
• If you take more than you should, talk to your doctor or go to the hospital right away.
• If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is almost time for your next dose
• Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for a forgotten dose.

How to store Tegretol 200 mg tablets:

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton/strip/label. The expiration date refers to the last day of the month.
