Why is minoxidil used:

-Minoxidil is used topically on the scalp to treat hereditary hair loss.

Do not use minoxidil:

-If you are allergic to the active ingredients or any of the other ingredients of this medicine.

-If you suffer from high blood pressure.

-If you suffer from a skin condition of your scalp such as psoriasis or sunburn.

-If you have hair loss for other reasons (medications, childbirth).

-If you have a shaved scalp.

-If you have to wear a bandage or cover your scalp.
