Prednisolone Acetate - 10 mg/mL 1% eye drops
What Prednisolone Acetate is and what it is used for:
Prednisolone acetate reduces irritation, burning, redness, and swelling of eye inflammation caused by chemicals, heat, radiation, allergies, or foreign bodies in the eye.
Do not use Prednisolone Acetate:
• If you are allergic to prednisolone acetate, benzalkonium chloride, or any of the other ingredients of this medicine
• If you suffer from a viral, fungal or bacterial eye infection
• If you suffer from tuberculosis of the eye
• If you have injuries or ulcers on the cornea
• If you have ever had herpes simplex
Cautions and precautions:
Talk to your doctor before using prednisolone acetate if you have, or have suffered in the past, from:
• Eye ulcers or have had an eye disease or treatment that causes tissue thinning
• Glaucoma or you are being treated for elevated pressure inside the eye
• Surgery to treat cataracts
• Bacterial, viral or fungal eye infections
How to save pred fort eye drops
Store at a temperature below 25°C

After opening, the eye drops are safe for 28 days. After that, using the drops can cause serious damage to the eye as bacteria may have entered it
Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.
Store in the original package to protect from moisture.
Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton/strip/label. The expiration date refers to the last day of the month.
