Product Description:

• The drug contains clavonic acid, to protect amoxicillin from resistance to beta-lactamase-producing bacteria.
• Amoxicillin: It is an antibiotic that belongs to a group of drugs called penicillins. It treats many bacterial infections by stopping the growth of disease-causing bacteria by inhibiting the bio-construction of the cell wall, which leads to the death of bacteria.
• It is not used to treat viral infections such as influenza, as this is called misuse of antibiotics, and it may lead to the emergence of strains of bacteria that are resistant to antibiotics.

Indications:

_ Amoxicillin clavulanic acid is used in:

• Treating lower respiratory infections.
• Treatment of otitis media.
• Treatment of sinusitis and skin infections.
• Treatment of infections caused by beta-lactamase producing strains such as Escherichia coli, Haemophilus influenzae, Klebsiella species, and Staphylococcus aureus, where amoxicillin alone is not appropriate.
• Treatment of bacterial urinary tract infection.
• Prevention in contaminated surgery.
• Bacterial infections of the mouth and gums.

Contraindications:

• It is forbidden for those who have hypersensitivity to the components of this drug.
• It is forbidden for those who have a defect in the functions of the liver and kidneys as well.
• He warns against using this medicine without consulting a doctor.

Clavox side effects:

Clavox drug interactions:

• It is preferable to tell the doctor or pharmacist about all medications, herbs, vitamins, and nutritional supplements before starting treatment.
• It is recommended not to concomitantly with the following drugs:
• Probenecid.
• Chloramphenicol or Tetracycline.
• Allopurinol.
• Methotrexate.
• Warfarin.

Dosage and method of use:
