Indications
· It is used for acute relief of migraine headaches.
Instructions for use
· Always use the product exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.
· It's best to take Imigran as soon as you feel a migraine coming on, although you can take it at any time during an attack.
· You may take a second tablet of Imigran when at least 2 hours have passed since the first tablet.
· Do not use imigran to try to prevent an attack, use it only after your migraine symptoms begin.
Use during pregnancy and lactation
· Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
· The doctor will discuss the possible risks and benefits of using this medicine during pregnancy and breast-feeding
How does Imigran work?
· This preparation contains:
· Sumatriptan (a type of selective serotonin receptor agonist) works by narrowing the blood vessels in the head, preventing the release of certain substances that lead to pain, nausea and other migraine symptoms.
Possible side effects
· The following side effects are not common to everyone, but some patients may complain of:
· drowsiness or tiredness;
· hard breathing.
· Temporarily high blood pressure.
· Muscle pain.

· Talk to your doctor about all of your medical conditions before taking this medicine.
· Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking or might take other medicines.
Contraindications to the use of Imigran
· The drug should not be used prophylactically.
· Do not use the medicine if you are allergic to any of the ingredients.
· Not suitable for patients with severe hypertension.
· Use with caution in patients with a history of seizures.
· Imigran is not recommended for use in children under 18 years of age.
· Imigran is not recommended for people over 65 years of age.
How to save and store Imigran
· Store at room temperature (20-25°C).
· Do not use this product after the expiration date.
