How Hemagel works:

• It chemically binds to the oxygen radicals that are created during inflammatory processes.

• Constant moisture in the wound prevents scab formation and thus helps speed up the healing process.

How to use Hemagel:

• Clean the wound of impurities, such as dust particles, which are remnants of past materials that can irritate and damage the wound later.
• Open the tube by inverting the cap and prick it into the tube.
• Apply a small amount of gel over the entire surface of the wound. The gel adheres to the wound below the surface of the wound and gradually absorbs exudate and other fluids from the wound.
• Cover the wound with a sterile square, preferably of non-woven fabric, and secure it with a bandage or plaster.
• Redress as necessary every 24-48 hours.

Hemagel side effects:

Although any of the following side effects are not common, some patients may experience them. Tell your doctor if any of these side effects are severe or do not go away:

• Inability to have or maintain an erection.
• Decreased sexual desire.
• Ejaculation problems (including decreased semen volume).
• Pain in the testicles.
• Depression.

Precautions for pregnancy and lactation while taking Hemagel:

• If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.
• Your doctor will discuss the potential risks and benefits of using this medication during pregnancy and breast-feeding.

Useful Tips:

• Eat foods rich in fiber. Eat more fruits, vegetables and whole grains.
• Use topical treatments.
• Apply a hemorrhoid cream containing hydrocortisone, or use a pad recommended by your pharmacist or doctor, for example. Example: Hemorrhoid medication.
• Soak regularly in a warm bath or sitz bath.
• Take oral pain relievers. For example: pain relief.

• Do not cool in the freezer.
